Auditions for James Joyce’s The Dead | Quotidian Theatre Company

Quotidian Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 Nonprofit Professional Theatre, announces auditions for the first production of its Fifteenth Anniversary Season, the Tony-winning musical James Joyce’s The Dead, written by Richard Nelson and Shaun Davey. The show will open on November 16th and run through December 16th, 2012, with a minimum of 16 performances on weekends, in addition to one possible Monday night performance on November 24th. The production will take place at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda. Rehearsals will start in mid- to late September.

Auditions for the roles listed below will tentatively be held on Sunday, March 18th, with probable additional sessions and callbacks on the following Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  These are not AEA roles, but all performers will receive a stipend.

If you would like to be considered for the auditions, please send your headshot, resume with vocal range, and choice(s) of roles to quotidiantheatre@comcast.net. All submissions must be received no later than March 11th.  If you are chosen, you will be given a location, date, time, sides, and type of song to prepare no later than March 14th.
