Brian Friel’s landmark play “Faith Healer” has had a profound effect on playwrights throughout the world. The title character, Frank Hardy, is an Irish faith healer who travels through England, Scotland, and Wales with his spouse Grace and his Cockney manager Teddy, performing his “gift,” which sometimes fails him. Through a series of monologues, the audience learns the details of a man whose life is fraught with deception and self-denial, and the effect on those most loyal to him. “One of those rare works of art audiences are destined to recall as a deeply personal piece of writing.”
–New York Times
Directed by: Laura Giannarelli
Featuring: Christopher Henley as Frank, Laura Russell as Grace, and Nick Sampson as Teddy.

Quotidian Theatre Company’s production of Brian Friel’s play Faith Healer is a superlative exploration of the theme of the fallibility of memory versus reality.
